We’re seeking a Clinical Support Specialist to partner closely with Sterile Processing Departments and Operating Rooms, helping hospitals maximize the performance of an innovative surgical system. This role is ideal for someone who understands tray flow, sterilization challenges, and real-world OR demands - and is ready to make a bigger impact.
What You’ll Do
As a trusted clinical and SPD partner, you will:
Serve as the SPD & OR expert for system setup, tray loading, audits, and best practices
Support hospitals in optimizing workflow, reducing errors, and improving turnaround times
Collaborate daily with SPD leaders, techs, and OR staff to troubleshoot challenges and offer solutions
Transport, stage, and support system use in the OR
Conduct in-services and hands-on education for SPD and OR teams
Identify opportunities to increase system utilization and efficiency
Assist with tray management optimization and vendor tray redesign
Track key metrics including setup times, processing efficiency, and utilization
Support quality assurance initiatives and customer satisfaction efforts
Participate in onboarding, training, and continuous improvement programs

What We’re Looking For
Required:
Background in Sterile Processing (SPD/Central Services), Surgical Services, or the OR
Strong understanding of process-driven workflows
Comfort with hands-on equipment and basic mechanical troubleshooting
Willingness to travel locally and work flexible schedules as needed
Strong organizational, communication, and customer-facing skills
Self-motivated, reliable, adaptable, and customer service–oriented
Preferred:
CRCST certification (Certified Registered Central Service Technician
Experience with Quality Management Systems
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
Work across hospital environments including SPD, ORs, and clinical spaces
Requires standing, walking, lifting trays, and prolonged movement
Flexible scheduling may be needed to support clinical cases
